SAFARI CAMP ACCOMMODATION
Wake up with the early morning chattering sounds of Guinea fowl and Red billed francolin as they announce the break of another day in Africa.
We invite you to enjoy the privacy of our comfortable and well equipped twin bedded rooms, bathroom with hot and cold running water and separate flush toilet and inside sitting area. Plenty of storage for your luggage and weapons are provided. Each room is decorated with a distinctive African touch.
Our trained house staff will provide a daily maid and laundry service.
Picnic lunches can be packed for a day long trip into the bush or taken in camp if hunting close by. Snacks and soft drinks are available throughout the day.
After a hard day’s hunting, relax in camp around the mopane wood fire with logs snapping and cracking in the twilight and enjoy a cold beer and good conversation amid the nocturnal sounds of the African bush or toast your trophy with snaps at the bar.
You will be treated to Namibian country cuisine consisting of mainly wild game dishes, what the hunter shoots goes into the pot. Excellent South African wines will compliment the meal.
Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice. Our drinking water is from an underground well, clean and safe to drink but bottled water is available upon your request.
The facilities at Vieranas Safaris are fully licensed with the Namibia Tourism Board.
Safari Camp Activities for Non-Hunters
Non-hunting guests or family hunting groups are more than welcome to accompany hunters in camp. We have a variety of activities to enjoy during your stay at Vieranas Safaris.
Relax in the shade with a good book, we have a selection of books on Namibia that are available for you to enjoy or take an accompanied nature walk and familiarize yourself with our African landscape and beautiful panoramic views.
Encounter animals in their natural environment on morning and afternoon game drives or game viewing from a waterhole blind, we have an abundance of Namibian bird species including endemic species like Damara Rock Runner, Monteiro’s Hornbill, Rüppell’s Parrot and Violet Woodhoopoe to name but a few. Visit an ancient Bushman rock art site on the property.
A morning visit to the village of Kamanjab for souvenir shopping, post office and other personal essentials can also be arranged or bring along a Safari Club International Blue Bag to delight the under-privileged pre-school children of a nearby school. We donate some of the trophy game meat harvested in our hunting areas to these schools.
Additional day trips and Photographic safaris may be organized during your stay or hunt with Vieranas Safaris, visit our photo safari page for more information.
